There are some tiny manufacturer flaws in the glaze, but no chips, cracks or crazing of any type. The bottom is stamped with the makers mark, but it is not legible. I belive this pretty little set was made in Canada, but I cannot quite make out the markings. It has a slight roughness to the touch and seems to have been made before the glazing process was perfected to produce a nice smooth to the touch feel. The Roses are a vibrant red color and there is no fading of the colors anywhere. Judging from the look and feel, I would estimate that this set was made prior to 1900.
